Exercise doesn’t just do wonders for the body, it also has a profoundly positive effect on the mind. When combined with a healthy diet exercise not only helps people to stay healthy and loose weight, but it also relieves stress and helps one get a restful night’s sleep.
Exercise need not necessarily be strenuous to gain the benefit, simply getting out and about for a bike ride or taking the dog for a walk can do the power of good. Age or fitness level does not matter either, you don’t need to pump iron to develop good muscle tone, just go swimming or try yoga, which not only helps promote fitness and flexibility, it also helps focus the mind.
