By now anyone that has browsed this site. Should be aware of the fact I love outsourcing. (read – The Benefits of outsourcing). It isn’t something just the big companies do. It literally can be done by just about anyone at any stage of their life no matter what they want to achieve.
We all have the same 24 hours in day, but its what we do with it that make all the difference. I have alway had the voice in the back of my head, trying to tell me work smarter not harder.
I think for me the concept first really came to the front of my brain after reading, Tim Ferris – The 4 hour work week and whilst I consider myself to smart and I GET most things, It was cemented with Location 180 and reading SOURCE CONTORL has taken it to a whole new level.
This site is a passion, something I truly believe in, but I also work a full time job (got to pay the bills). So I have had to learn to be creative with the free time I have from week to week.
Reading Source Control and implementing the majority of techniques, has drastically improved my quality of life. I now utilise a virtual assistant (VA), which basically entails hiring someone else to do all of the things you don’t like doing in your life, thus enabling you to focus on the things that will add the most value to your goals, and in doesn’t matter what they are, it can be anything from Surfing to spending more time with your family.
Things you can have a VA do range from paying your bills, to coding websites, to doing research for presentations, it really is limitless what you can do.
Source Control walks you through step by step what outsourcing is, why it is beneficial, and how you can apply it to your life to start saving you time and money. I found it to be an engrossing read, and something I will read again.
